Kidprint ID
Kidprint ID is an electronic identification program provided by the Lexington Division of Police for youth ages 18 and under. Parents of participating children receive a free identification card containing vital information such as the child’s photo, name, height, weight, hair and eye color, date of birth and fingerprint.
This card can be used by police, family and media sources in the event of a lost or possibly abducted child to provide current information as quickly as possible.
In addition to the ID card issued to the parent, the Division of Police maintains the information on a jump drive to be accessed by our communications officers and disseminated to patrol officers on the Mobile Data Computers located in their cruisers.
Any person, organization, or corporation, who is interested in being a sponsor for the Lexington Division of Police KidPrint program please contact Sgt. Doug Lamb at 859-258-3636 Community Services Section.
