Crime Analysts

The Crime Analyst works closely with the investigators assigned to the Bureau of Investigation. The analyst uses the computer data to determine crime patterns, trends and modus operandi for the offenses that have occurred to aid in the apprehension of offenders or the preventing of subsequent offenses. The analyst also aids in the preparation of data and presentations for use in the Division's monthly CompStat meetings as well as presentations in the Patrol Briefing.
